The Sheet Pan Formula

Ingredients you will need:

  • Vegetables: Chopped bite-sized veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, sweet bell peppers, onion, asparagus, carrots, cherry tomatoes, green beans, etc.
  • Starchy carbohydrate (optional): Chopped bite-sized potato, turnips, beets or sweet potato
  • Protein: chicken breast, chicken thighs, salmon fillets, pork tenderloin, pork chops, shrimp, etc.
  • Oil: Extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil
  • Seasoning: Salt, pepper, spices, fresh herbs, ranch seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, Italian seasoning, etc.

Depending on your ingredients, cooking times will vary!

Keep it simple and don’t overdo it! General rule of thumb is to roast the sheet pan dinner at 400 degrees – just make sure you set your timer to keep track. Cut up those potatoes, add some veggies too – they’ll need 30 minutes in a preheated oven. Depending on your choice of meat, you may only need 15 minutes if it is salmon or up to 30 minutes for pork tenderloin.
