Equipment

  • Cocktail picks or bamboo skewers for assembling

Ingredients

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs sliced lengthwise
  • Black pepper or bagel seasoning optional
  • 2 bacon strips cooked and cut into small pieces
  • 4 small lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices Roma or cherry tomatoes work well

Instructions

  • Slice each hardboiled egg lengthwise into halves. Sprinkle each egg half with a pinch of black pepper or bagel seasoning for flavor, if desired.
  • Layer a slice of tomato, a small piece of lettuce, and a crispy piece of bacon on top.
  • Place another egg half on top to complete the slider.
  • Secure each slider with a cocktail pick or bamboo skewer for easy handling.

Notes

  • Dry lettuce and tomato slices with a paper towel before assembling to prevent the sliders from getting soggy.
  • These are best served fresh but can be prepped up to 4 hours ahead if stored in the fridge.
  • Use cocktail picks or bamboo skewers to keep everything in place, especially if serving on a platter.
