This Caramel Apple Bark with Pretzels is a quick and easy fall treat combining tart apples, rich dark chocolate, and crunchy pretzels drizzled with caramel. Perfect for Halloween, fall festivals, or a fun family snack, it’s sure to be a hit!
Prep the apples by cutting the Granny Smith apples into small chunks. To prevent browning, soak them in a mixture of 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for 5-10 minutes, then pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it into an even layer.
Break the mini pretzels into smaller pieces, then sprinkle them evenly over the chocolate for the pretzel layer.
Arrange the apple chunks on top of the chocolate and pretzels.
Drizzle warm caramel over the entire top of the bark, making sure to cover the apples and pretzels. You can also drizzle any remaining chocolate you may have.
Allow the bark to set in the fridge for 1-2 hours, or pop it in the freezer for 30 minutes for faster results.
Once firm, break the bark into pieces and enjoy!
