This quick ranch coleslaw is creamy, crunchy, and made with Greek yogurt, mayo, ranch seasoning, and bagged coleslaw mix. It’s an easy ranch slaw for BBQs, picnics, pulled pork, burgers, and summer parties!
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, lemon juice, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Add the tri-color coleslaw mix and sliced green onions to the bowl. Toss everything together until the cabbage is evenly coated in the ranch dressing.
Taste the dressing and adjust as needed. Add a little more vinegar for tang, a pinch more sugar for balance, or extra black pepper for flavor.
Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes if you have time, or serve right away if you need it fast. Before serving, make sure to give the slaw a good stir and taste once more for seasoning.
Notes
For the crunchiest texture, toss the coleslaw mix with the dressing 1 to 4 hours before serving.
Ranch seasoning blends vary in saltiness, so start with less salt and add more after tasting.
Make sure to keep the coleslaw chilled until serving for proper food safety, especially for cookouts and picnics.
Store leftover ranch coleslaw in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, stirring well and draining off any extra liquid before serving.
