This fig balsamic glaze is rich, sweet, and tangy. Ready in 15 minutes with just two ingredients, it’s perfect for everything from cheese boards to roasted veggies!
In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and fig preserves.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
Transfer to a glass jar or airtight container and refrigerate once cooled.
Notes
Make sure to simmer low and stir often to avoid scorching.
If it thickens too much, add a splash of warm water or vinegar to loosen it up.
Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. I do not recommend freezing it!
