Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup pecans roughly chopped
  • 3 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • cup avocado oil
  • cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup freeze-dried apples chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, pecans, apple pie spice, and salt.
  • Stir in the avocado oil, maple syrup, and vanilla until the mixture is evenly coated.
  • Spread the mixture onto the sheet pan in an even layer. Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until golden and fragrant.
  • Let cool completely before stirring in the chopped freeze-dried apples. Granola will crisp up as it cools, forming those golden clusters everyone loves!

Notes

  • Store cooled granola in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Bake a double batch and freeze half so you always have a quick fall breakfast ready.
  • Sprinkle over yogurt, layer in smoothie bowls, or add as a crunchy topping for your apple pie yogurt bowl.
