This easy biscuit pizza casserole is an easy, family-friendly dinner made with just a few ingredients. It is cheesy, saucy, filling, and perfect for switching up pizza night!
Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Add the ground turkey to a large skillet over medium heat and cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in the pizza sauce and let it warm through.
While the turkey cooks, open the refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 small pieces.
Add the biscuit pieces to the prepared baking dish in an even layer.
Spoon the sauced ground turkey evenly over the biscuit pieces, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni.
Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the biscuit pieces in the center are cooked through. If the top starts browning too quickly but the center needs more time, loosely cover the dish with foil and continue baking.
Let the casserole rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving so it can set up and scoop more easily.
Notes
If the center still looks doughy after baking, cover loosely with foil and bake another 3 to 5 minutes.
Use a thicker pizza sauce to keep the casserole from getting watery.
Cook watery vegetables like mushrooms, peppers, onions, or zucchini before adding them to the casserole.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
Reheat in the microwave for convenience or in the oven or air fryer for crispier edges.
