Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Spoon
  • Small bowl
  • Pastry brush

Ingredients

  • 1 can Buttermilk biscuits jumbo
  • 2 cups pimento cheese homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Optional dipping sauce such as ranch dressing or hot sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  • Split each biscuit into two layers to make them thinner.
  • Add a tablespoon of pimento cheese to the center of each biscuit piece.
  • Fold and pinch the edges of the biscuit dough to seal the cheese inside. Roll in the palm of your hand to form a ball.
  • Mix melted butter with a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  • Brush the cheese bombs with the garlic herb butter and place them seam-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t touching.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch dressing or hot sauce.

Notes

Avoid overstuffing the cheese bombs to prevent the filling from bursting out during cooking.
Store leftover cheese bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To make in the oven, preheat your oven to 375°F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the cheese bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush with seasoned butter, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
