Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt 2%
  • ¼ cup roughly chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • water as needed

Instructions

  • Add the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper to a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Adjust the consistency depending on how you want to use it. For a thicker dip, leave as is. For a drizzle or dressing, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or lime juice as needed, then serve.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days with plastic wrap pressed on top to prevent browning.
  • To make a spicy avocado lime crema, blend in half of a jalapeño or a few dashes of hot sauce for an easy kick.
