1 cup strawberries halved 2 ripe peaches sliced 1 cup black cherries pitted, halved ½ cup blueberries 1 cup mandarin orange segments fresh or drained from can ¼ cup sweet wine I love Chateau Elan 1 orange juiced 1 to 2 tablespoons honey to taste 2 tablespoons fresh mint chopped
Add all of the sliced fruit to a large mixing bowl.
Pour in the wine and orange juice, then drizzle the honey over the top.
Gently toss everything together until the fruit is evenly coated in the liquid.
Sprinkle in the fresh mint and give it one last gentle toss.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors soak in before serving.
If using frozen fruit, thaw and drain it well to avoid excess liquid.
Make sure the black cherries are pitted before using.
Adjust the honey depending on how sweet your fruit is.
For a nonalcoholic version, swap the wine for apple juice or white grape juice.
Best served the same day, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
